ABOUT THE CABINET

Lunam's Cabinet of Curiosities is a creative workshop built around handmade, unusual and wonderfully peculiar things.
From dragons, dinosaurs and fantasy creatures to miniatures, book nooks, hand-bound books, plushies, resin creations, props, oddities and custom commissions, the Cabinet is home to creations that don't always fit neatly into ordinary categories.
Some things are sculpted. Some are printed. Some are sewn, bound, painted or built from scratch.
And some require figuring out an entirely new way to make them.
MEETÂ LUNAM
I'm Lunam, the maker and creative mind behind Lunam's Cabinet of Curiosities.
I've never been particularly good at choosing just one creative medium, so I stopped trying.
My work moves between sculpting, resin printing, painting, sewing, bookbinding, miniature building, creature making, writing, customisation and whatever new skill the current project demands.
The Cabinet grew from that mixture of interests into a place where all of them could exist together.
Basically, if an idea refuses to leave my head, eventually I have to make the damn thing.

MADE FOR THE CURIOUS
There is no single shelf everything has to fit on.
The Cabinet is built on experimentation, imagination and making things with character.
Many pieces are handmade, hand-finished or produced in small quantities. Custom creations are approached individually, and the Workshop is constantly experimenting with new materials, techniques and ideas.
The result is an ever-growing collection of strange, fantastical, bookish and occasionally completely unnecessary things.
And that's exactly how the Cabinet is supposed to be.
